Workforce Development Award
The CURT Workforce Development Awards are designed to provide significant national and international recognition for extraordinary, exemplary, and innovative training and education programs that encourage individuals to pursue a career in the construction industry and/or enhance an individual’s construction skills.
Many non-profit organizations are doing outstanding work to improve construction workforce development and training on very limited budgets. In recognition and promotion of these efforts, CURT is sponsoring a $5,000 award and recognition of the winning workforce program award submission. To be eligible, the non-profit must submit a winning program on its own or jointly with another organization, such as a contractor/for-profit. We encourage any non-profit with a competitive, excellent workforce development and training program to compete for the opportunity to receive $5,000 to continue their efforts.
2024 Workforce Award Application & Process
The 2024 Workforce Development Award applications will be available soon.
March 29, 2024 – Online application available for completion.
July 28, 2024 – Applications must be completed and submitted through the CURT website.
September 16, 2024 – Winners will be notified by phone.
November 12, 2024 – Award presentation to winners at the CURT Awards of Excellence Ceremony in Houston, Texas.
NOTE: To assist in underwriting the cost of the awards program and juror process, the committee has implemented an application fee in the amount of $100.00, which is payable when the application is submitted. Payment by credit card can be made by calling Ronna at the CURT office at 513.981.2773.
