Contractors Workforce Development Assessment
The CWDA objectively measures a contractor’s commitment to workforce development. It’s designed to improve decision-making and make workforce development a key criterion in contractor prequalification and selection.

How it works
Contractors subscribe online to take part in the CWDA. Participating contractors answer questions and upload documentation to support their answers. An independent, third-party auditor reviews each assessment and assigns a score for the contractor to share with selected owners.
Better projects. A stronger industry.
Assessments are available for firms who serve as construction managers, self-performing general contractors, and subcontractors. The CWDA process helps owners better qualify their contractors to make an immediate impact on projects. And it encourages improvements to the skilled labor pipeline — building a more capable, resilient industry for years to come.
