TYCO FIRE AND BUILDING PRODUCTS
Allen Bunner is the Director of Engineered Systems for Tyco Fire and Building Products, based in Akron Ohio. Allen has had more than 30 years of mechanical and electrical contracting background, specializing in fixed fire protection systems, including more than 20 years focused in Special Hazards systems, and 15 years experience with International contracting and exportation of fire protection technologies. Allen has held roles in design, sales, P/L management, and general management in the construction industry. Most recently, he managed SimplexGrinnell International Operations, and was Vice President Global Accounts at Tyco Fire and Security Services. Allen joined Tyco Fire and Building Products in 2004.
In addition to his roles within Tyco, Allen is a member of the Society of Fire Protection Engineers (SFPE), has served as a member of the International Advisory Committee of the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), and sits on the Board of Trustees for the Construction Users Roundtable (CURT), a US-based owners' construction association that represents more than $150b of annual construction capital expenditures on a global basis.
